UPDATE: In the video I said 2021 when in fact, it is a yellow 2020 model. I might have made other mistakes as well. Sue me! haha.. enjoy 👍

I have this one. An awesome bike! So easy to ride, enough power, and a lot of torque. Looks are good, but that’s personal of course😉

In February of 2021, I bought the 2021 F750GS with standard height, and the premium package. Coming off a K1200LT, this new bike is a joy to ride. So much easier, lighter, nimble and a breeze to move around. Of course, its a different bike from the LT, but this one is faster and much sportier. The quick shifter works well, but a bit notchy between 3 to 4th gear. I don't bother with it very much. In DYNAMIC mode, it is really, really fast. I also owned a K1200S with 163 hp and this GS is sportier because its lighter and more nimble. The K1200S was tiring to ride. I'm really impressed with its 77 hp. Rock solid all around, and easy to work on. Great bike for the money. And the sound is awesome, doesn't sound like a sewing machine.

Definitely not a '21 anniversary edition. It's a 2020 F750GS in Austin metallic yellow, borrowed from the M series cars. I have that exact model and I love it. You're spot on with the review. 👌🏾 The turbulence is annoying especially in high winds but it drives so beautifully.

I've just ridden this model for 6 consecutive days on a training course. I had 3 bikes in total as the gearbox was an absolute pig, and I thought it must be faulty but it's just the way they are. Coming from my Honda, the gear change is really agricultural. However it's very well balanced, and feels totally planted. If I was forced to have one I'd definitely get an aftermarket full screen though, as if I was in the market for a naked bike there's much better and nicer looking options out there. Because of the gearbox issues I also had one with a TFT screen for the day but it was so irritating. I had to go into the menu just to get my fuel gauge and the little menu wheel on the left hand grip took my hand 3/4 of an inch further away from the indicator which was a real pain, so watch out anyone with small hands if you don't want tendinitis. My overall rating having ridden it for 6 consecutive days for over 50 hours is I'd say 6/10. OK to borrow if you work at a dealership or something but I'd never buy one.

This is the old model. You can see that it does not have a connectivity display. This is standard on the current models. So different are the views. ;) I really wanted a modern display. And the BMW cockpit is currently the benchmark. Tire pressure monitoring, turn by turn navigation (which really works great with the BMW app), audio communication, etc. are important to me. I've been riding it for two years now and it is exactly what I expect from a mid-range GS. A confident all-round bike that drives reliably. You never have the feeling that somehow lacks power. On the contrary, in Dynamic Mode, the bike is very agile, hangs more aggressive on the gas and you can work off dynamic driving situations sovereign. Just a GS.

Otherwise, no problems so far. What I will still change for long tours: The windshield must go. Since either a Puig or Givi belongs to it. All time good trip!

Man, thank you so much for this. I'll be riding the same routes when I get mine. Leaving from Coronado, though. Haha. Brilliant review!

It's gold in color....not yellow>!<

I have the exact same bike....and have the exact same response to its effortless command of high speed curves.

Your comments on the more subtle aspects of its handling are appreciated.

Good review.

Nice review! Patiently waiting for that GS 850 review to help fuel my purchase.

I sat on one recently and was disappointed by the build. Standard seat was awful too. I would say its much of the same with other manufacturers but it isnt. The standard seat on the v strom sets a very high bar it would seem for others fo follow. The bmw just gives nothing that would pull you away from suzuki or even the honda nx / transalp reliability

Nice video and review. Is it hard to find the neutral at stop light? How’s the seat? Would my butt hurt/sore for an at least 5 hr ride?

The analog speedometer is very outdated for 2020 model i could barely see how fast im going. Another thing you mentioned the turbulence at 80 + mph that's not good in my Opinion.

125 fuel mileage range? That’s terrible.

Why on earth would you recommend earplugs for someone who's riding a motorcycle? How about just getting a bigger windshield?
