GUY'S I have an idea for all those people who LOVE making generations after generations. Idk if anyone has made a challenge like this but I just thought about it, I Call it Successful Generations Challenge.

Rules:
1. You win the challenge after about 3 or 4 generations but it's your choice if you wanna go higher

2. Both parents has to be successful in their careers.

3. After the 3 or 4 promotion that is when your sim is allowed to pursue a romantic interest or have kid's (if they already have a romantic interest)

4. Your sim must be faithful to that one Sims only

5. You are not allowed to try for a baby more than once (unless they don't conceive)

4. The first or only child will be your successor

5. And yes your sim can have fun just like any other sim 😂😉

6. Yes, Your child is allowed to have the same Job as their parents or grandparents

7. Mods and CC and cheats are allowed

8. Good luck and try to make it through the 1st generation

And that's the challenge, I hope whoever sees this gives it a try and enjoys it. Have fun with your successful generations!

I can never get past one generation, I loose interest. But recently, I've started a household....and I'm going for three generations!

The biggest problem I experienced with my big familys is that when the first generation starts dying of the others constantly have the sad moodlet cuz it's like a chain reaction

Some of you are asking how to keep interest in a sims family. This is my trick.
I love huge familys. LOVE THEM. You always have something to do and work for. So make a big family. The family I made has a..
Husband
Wife
Teen
Teen
Kid
Uncle (Wife's Brother)
And Grandpa (Wife's father.)
I made them all get a job (except for one teen and the kid) and then here is the thing that will keep you entertained for months...
DRAMA. LOTS OF IT.
In my save I made the Uncle get someone pregnant, made her move in and she had a kid. Made one of the teenagers get pregnant. Made the other one fall in love with a girl and move her in because as the story line went "she was in an abusive home."
Made the Grandpa get a younger boyfriend and when he died made the boyfriend stay in the household because he had no where else to go.
Made the Husband a criminal, and he cheated on the wife. The wife got mad and then cheated on him. So they both lived double lives. They divorced, the husband moved out. The wife's new husband and his two kids moved in.
While this was going on the Uncle married the woman who had their daughter. She got prego again and had twins and then triplets.


It's SO FUN. Add unrealistic drama. Make crazy twists. Do challenges. Make a HUGE FAMILY.


Just make it hectic.

i only play the sims 4 for family trees.

I actually never know how to play with my generations. I'm with my household in Gen 4 and I have two separate lots, since they all have multiple siblings and half-siblings and so on. I placed my settings so that only the played household will age and jump back and forth between the two lots, so I don't missing out on anything. But it becomes so stressful. I wish that story progression would be a thing and my Sims can care for themselves, get into new families, marry new partner, become children, it would be much easier for me that way. Anyway, I hope I can one day let loose and build a family tree, half as big as yours.

One of my sims family trees is so big it fills up the world's because they all have more than one child each... I am getting confused and have too look at the family tree often just to make sure my sim isn't going out with their cousins....

I’m currently five generations in and I think this might be the biggest family I’ve ever had. Usually I get about three generations in before I get bored and restart. The biggest one I’ve had was five generations before I gave up. I like the stories I given my sims, and the sims themselves as I believe my family tree has great genetics. Though I’ve already delt with some glitches...

I wish Sims was online that's what I want lmfao! But your family tree looks dope. I had a family tree similar with 28 generations, working over six months on it. Sadly my save data deleted but I'm starting over again lol. Looks like you've put a lot of work Into it and I love it. Definitely subscribing. I don't normally find other people that are into the whole generation creating play style like me.
