Wth he said, Kentucky defense shouldn't be ranked higher than lsu? Kentucky is ranked 9th in the nation. They are ranked over Georgia, bama. This dude needs to put the bong down. There is no way Baker could make lsu a top 10 defense in the first year. If he could make it top 30 at end of the year that is doing hell a of turn around.

I don't know if this dude knows what he's talking about LSU does not have very good players at all on defense that is mostly the problem. We don't have the Jimmy's and the Joe's yet

The use of the "star" db has not worked well for LSU at all. Over the last several years, the defense has been easily fooled by offenses that challenge the db/linebackers to make the correct choices on who to cover. How many times have you seen two or three dbs covering one wr and another is wide open?? A sophomore moving into the position isn't gonna change much imho, it's a team effort to cover receivers.

LSU doesn't have those dudes on defense. They haven't had them since 19. Not all stars translate to great players

LSU defense seems to be getting better, but we will know more after the Ole Miss game. LSU is nowhere near the Texas, the Georgia, or the Alabama teams. I would have said Ole Miss also, until the Kentucky game. Maybe LSU can get there in two years. Nuss is my MVP choice.
