(new) eDrum nerds! Here’s a video mostly meant for new eDrummers, although I discuss important basics that some experienced players may find helpful. I discuss the basics of setting up your pads to get the best possible playing experience.

In the video, I reference the following video, as this is perhaps the most comprehensive, detailed explanation of properly setting up triggers that I’ve ever watched.

Thanks for tuning in. Hit me up with any questions and hope you have a great day!

I'm a beginner drummer with a td-17kvx2. I love it but lately it seems like I have a dead spot in the snare. It's like upper right side of dead center. It doesn't seem to matter if I'm hitting hard or soft. I don't know when it started and what the problem is. I've played with the head tension but that didn't seem to help. I've played around in the settings a bit but I don't know what I'm doing. Anyway, thanks for the video.

I'm looking to pick up either a used td50kv or td716. I'm getting conflicting info on this, but on either module when you import user samples, do you have to blend them with other sounds or can you use them as-is. I cant say Im a fan of the current sounds Roland's been using. Im gonna end up using ezdrummer but i just want to be able to turn on the module and play without my laptop sometimes. Are there any drawbacks to using user samples on these modules?
