Firm paint is very important for the wet on wet technique because Bob said that "a thin paint will stick to a thick paint." And also it will also with the snow break on mountains. So you need your paint that has the consistency of peanut butter for this technique to work well.

Nice job man, love how your the guy "keeping the Ross dream alive". Respect. He may not be a Rembrandt, Sarjeant, Monet, Picaso, but he was a legend in his own right. And what he did for painting, and people in general, through his relaxing show/voice, will never be duplicated. Nice job!

I’ve noticed that the 37ml titanium white tubes in particular have consistently been very thick when getting them which is good. The 200ml liquid white I have gotten though is probably the most oily out of any of my paint tubes.

You can also use talc powder. Or chalk powder on titanium white to Thicken it. But remember if your using the chalk on lighter colors like bright red. Then it's gonna make it look a bit different. I used this technique for a long time and it works. Great vid wild. You crushed it!

Completely agree on changing to Winsor Newton Titanium White instead of Bob Ross. Made a world of difference for my clouds and mountains! I did dry out my BR white with the method shown in the other video, but its nice not to have to do so!

Just a piece of info, the Bob Ross Co. is now having their paint made in the USA by Golden. I guess they heard enough about the quality of the paint. They don’t have all the colors yet, I presume as they run out of the old it’s replaced with the Golden brand. I purchased a tube of the new Alizarin Crimson and it is great, also the Liquid White is made by Golden as well and is much better. If you call the Bob Ross Co. they will tell you what is available from the new manufacture. It also says Golden on the tube and the jar for the Liquid White. Hope this helps.

FYI: ALL tubes of oil color have oil settle near the cap, not just the Bob Ross brand. Windsor Newton, Gamblin, Artist's Loft, just to name a few.

are you going to do a video on the difference between other oil paints? because for me personally my favorite Gamblin oil paint.
but I have used Windsor and newton. Gamblin and Grumbacher. but I really like Gamblin because All Gamblin Oil Paints are completely non-toxic
Most are made with alkali-refined linseed oil as a binder, which creates a strong, flexible paint film and yellows significantly less than cold press linseed oil. Not only are these vegetable oils completely non-toxic. so I really don't worry if some paint gets on my hands/ face. or if my animal are around me painting because I'm a mess painter

I’ve heard that oil paint is toxic and dangerous especially the cadmiums and the cobalt colors like cadmium red, cadmium yellow, cobalt blue. Is it true that oil paint is dangerous?
