If there’s a new game I’d be fine with less items and customization, I just want what we DO get to be livelier. Like, if I can have a pool I’d like to be able to swim in it, and for my villagers to swim in it. I want my villagers to have more personality and agency. I want more little events and for more special characters to be involved. I want to feel a part of the community, not the overlord of it.

this is gonna be a hot take but if a new animal crossing game comes out i hope they don’t put as much of an emphasis on just decorating. i miss the feeling of life in the old games where the villagers had actual personalities and there was always something to do. i love acnh though.

man it'd be so so so so cool if all the pocket camp stuff was just an event/something you could have in acnh (especially the halloween stuff, i would kill for that on my island)

acnh is an amazing game, i love it and still play and work on my island, revamp it, etc.. but i wish it'd get some more quality of life updates, i wish the villagers had more to say, i wish they would be a little bit more lively especially when you get their photograph and have a high friendship level

it'd be fun to be able to have some more villagers since the island is so massive and sometimes filling spots is hard

The U.S. aquarium tour was not all it was cracked up to be. There was an easter egg of Gulliver in one area which was cute and some standees to take pics with, but the merch was general plushies of 4 characters, the T-shirts were just general ones with an animal crossing logo, and at least the day I went (September 25th) the Georgia Aquarium did not have the fish descriptions from Blathers, and there was no stamp rally or any pamphlets or postcards in general. Luckily it was my first aquarium so I enjoyed myself nonetheless!

I don't like the idea of magnetic Joy-Cons...
If they're easy to take out, they can also fall out accidentally
If they're sturdily magnetized on the console, they'll be difficult to take out.

It's probably gonna be the same thing, it ain't gonna sell well because if it's just a bigger version of the switch, and if you are more casual, why would they buy this if it looks exactly the same? I mean, I definitely will for the games (unless it's a million dollars) but to casuals, they'll be confused just like the Wii U!

Nintendo are <beeps> for restricting the icons - for starters, that is the LAMEST bribery to play a game in desperate need of an update. There's loads of items missing, including ones from existing sets and not enough activity. There was more than enough money made from copies sold to bring out a QOL update. You want us to play? Release an update!
