No, It means it is any real number which does include integers.

@jineshnaik Range is the y-values but you need to define it if it is not given in the question. Just say let y = ....

Shouldn't it be >1? As x is bigger than 0, it'll always be above 1. So range > 1?

I would love to know how many extra marks in total you have given sixth form students when it comes to their exams. My guess would be a huge amount because your better than a teacher in that you don't judge the person asking the question!

Would I get the mark if I wrote g(x)>0 for it's range?
isn't it technically the same thing as g(x) bigger or equal to 1?

The question also states x > 0. I know the answer is still the same in this case that y>=1. But technically should I discard the part of the graph where x < 0?

Isnt e^x^2 the same as e^2x so wouldnt the range be g(x)>1
