I love that Tyler's sin was being this terrible customer who "knows everything" about cooking but cannot cook even to save his life. I think we all know somebody who is like this at a restaurant.

Tyler's bullshit is still one of the funniest things I've seen in a movie

Tyler's character is unique compared to the food critique and the corpo bros which is already something familiar in movies like Velvet Buzzsaw
(Money and Elitism destroying the meaning of Art).

Tyler represents the Parasocial Relationship Creators have with their "Fans". Fans obsess over everything the Creator does which ruins it not just for other people but for the creators themselves. Instead of "Tasting" the creation, they consume it, horde it, and revolve their entire identity around the creation wishing to be part of the Creator's world.

The irony is that Tyler is the writer's criticism of critics like our friend who has posted this video.

It takes all types for our world to function but after seeing this, I really feel like if you cannot appreciate it… you are either someone who truly enjoys serving other people no matter how they treat you or you are so severely disconnected from the service industry to the point you cannot relate.

I think he's more a critique of critiques. You know, the GaMeR who thinks he knows game dev better than people in the studio, the Instagram influencer who thinks she can catwalk a runway better than a professional and trained model, the cinephile essayist who knows the movie better than the director. People who like to show that they like something rather than actually like it. People who feel entitled to gatekeep and criticise other amateurs and proffesionals alike because "they know better." He's that kind of asshole, I believe.
