The fact that this didn't devolve into cannibalism or hunting rich people(okay, for a minute maybe), yet still ended up so intriguing and funny is really impressive. These folks are a joy to watch as well, Anya really has that charisma down and seems to understand the movie well along with Nicholas

Anya taylor-joy's accent is so fascinating to hear, so rare to find that kind of accent. Such an amazing actress

I want to eat the cheeseburger at the end. That was the best dish in the film.

I love how they all spend equal time discussing their personal choices and how they approached their performances and direction (respectively) and also praising each other and all the other talented people who worked on it. You can tell they all have so much passion and respect for one another and that make for such a great set dynamic and makes for an all the better end product of a film

We often see Ralph Fiennes as side character over the years, I was ready to see him in a supporting manner but THANK YOU for allowing him to dominate the entire movie! I been to theaters 18 times this year & his performance is up there! At the top even!

I actually remember thinking what a good choice it was to have anya having her back turned to slowik- and it stuck out to me that she had to turn herself around if she wanted to participate in any speech he was giving, she was actively having to make a choice to be addressed by him- I love the little details like that in this movie

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to Mylod explain his philosophy behind how he structured the scenes. And quite the nice additions from Hoult and Taylor-Joy with how they envisioned the scene and their characters within it.

Ralph Fiennes was really giving dark lord of gastronomy in this movie. The casting was 10/10

Anya is being iconically otherworldly as always... Such amazing charisma and that pure "radio quality" voice so full of confidence.

I watched this movie at this old arthouse cinema close to me (that's been used as a cinema since 1911) and the reaction I had after it was over was just saying "What a movie!". And I wasn't the only one. People laughed, people gasped. It really is a great movie. I wish I could see it again but that was the only screening they had.

2:27 I love this bit. If you're an editor you know exactly the feeling his talking about. Creating storybeats with stuff you had no intention of capturing when capturing it, just side material that fits perfectly.

Saw this film at a festival. Wonderfully entertaining. If you haven't already seen a trailer DON'T! Just go into it with an open mind and let yourself be surprised

Anya and Ralph were absolutely fantastic but Nicolas also deserves more recognition. He was so so good.

I loved “The Menu”-brilliant!

Reminded me of the time when I attended a wine & oysters night at a very posh restaurant and the highlight of my night was spotting a local celebrity, huddled in a dark corner of the bar.

He had an entire cheese platter he was guarding and was gorging on and I’d always wondered what he’d be like in person soooo…I approached and asked if I could have a piece of cheese. He responded quite grumpily “no, this cheese plate is the only real food in this ocean of pretentiousness”. He was deadly seriously (and quite drunk), but he wasn’t wrong 🤣.

Anya Taylor-Joy can literally pull off every hair color, low key pretty impressive

I never thought about it like that, but everyone was on set all the time. There were no "extras", but when other characters are highlighted the others are more like extras in the background. It was very intriguing, fun and unexpected. I think it's one that will grow on you even more with multiple viewings.
