The Cardinals Dubia, Cardinal Zen's meeting request ignored at peril of the Cardinals life, etc. He has been given so much latitude. What line does this monster have to cross before we call him what he is, an apostate. He is in gross dereliction of his office as is practically the entire college of Cardinals. I will not loose my faith over this, it becomes stronger everyday. When are we going to accept that a great Schism has occurred under the Reign of this pontiff?

Oh my. Mr. Flanders, you are a very nice man. You're an example of why we should all be charitable to each other in these difficult times.I listened to this because I was scandalized by that man we think of as pope participating, **again**, in a pagan ritual.I wanted to hear an argument on why that man is not outside of the Church.This discussion didn't hold up though! It seems your final conclusion is that we should be like Otto. Well if I were a world power I would do that but I'm not. So I will be like Otto in that I will state the blatantly obvious. The man has put himself outside of the Church with his heresy and repeated idolatry. Unless you think papal power means he is protected from such an obvious conclusion, then the only logical conclusion based on truth is that he is by his own choice outside of the Church, thus not Catholic and thus not pope. The fact that I am not Otto and can't force his sorry backside out of the Vatican doesn't change that reality. If a heretical idolator can be the pope, then what I was taught about the Catholic Church is not true. The rock, the foundation, has failed not a test of sin but a test of Church membership, and is no more trustworthy than Luther or Henry VIII. Why R&R's think that's a healthy conclusion is beyond me.
