Would you recommend it for windows 10? do all F1-F12 buttons work on windows? somebody told me F4 wont work. is it true?

Will the USB port pass data or is it just for charging? I know that the USB cable can be left connected for power while the keyboard is being used, but I want to know if the keyboard will still be recognized THROUGH THE USB CONNECTION if the computer's Bluetooth is turned completely off.

Is there some firmware update? It's my second piece, which is repeatedly disconnecting with MAC mini M1 (..no problem on WIN PC and with other keyboards with my MAC mini.. mouse works fine too., just this keyboard makes trouble) :(
