Actually there are books that cannot and should not be made into a movie. Wuthering Heights is one of these books. Just read the book, that' s the best thing to do when it comes to Emily Brontë' s masterpiece.

The old british movie would have been superb on its own but it was so confusing when you added barroom jazz. Completely ruined it completely. Music brought confusion.

Adding contemporary music as a backdrop to a classic film is a ridiculous concept! It ruins the authenticity of the film and the overall beauty of the period in which it takes place!

Richard Burton is not at all how I pictured Heathcliff (which is sadly the case for most of the actors who have played Heathcliff) however his performance is superb! He really understood the character’s inner turmoil💔

It's been said here many times, but someone added completely inappropriate music to it. Would definitely not recommend watching it.
