On 6 December we’ll host the launch party for this year’s Schibsted Future Report.
The Schibsted Future Report is our annual outlook on trends within tech, people and business. The people within the Schibsted family contribute to boil down the most important ideas and insights for the coming year.
The focus for Schibsted Future Report 2023 is “Innovating in tough times” – something very close to the core of our family of digital brands. When we launch the report on 6 December at Mesh in Oslo, we’ll host an assortment of Schibsted people to share their knowledge – please join us!
Agenda for the day:
Anna Andersson, F1 Reporter, Aftonbladet and Tord Overå, Product Manager Sports Platform, will delve into the world of Formula 1! In just a few years F1 has transformed from being a closed world into a global phenomenon. Thanks to the Netflix series Drive to survive, and drivers who have become influencers, a new young audience has discovered the sport. Anna and Tord will share how Aftonbladet and Schibsted’s Sports Platform works with the enormously popular sport.
Sven Thaulow, Chief Data and Technology Officer at Schibsted will share aspects to consider for large companies with the ambition to be innovative and share his set of rules.
Hanne Hollstedt, COO in Schibsted Venture will dive into the topic “Investing in tough times” interviewing Andrew Kvålseth, Chief Investment Officer and Schibsted, and one of Schibsted’s many exciting startups.
Lastly, Sumeet Singh Patpatia has been Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB) at Schibsted for a year now. After a year of collecting data, one thing is clear – a lot of unleashed potential could spur innovation.
Taking us through the day is Mari Midtstigen, Editor of Aftenposten Junior.
