POV: You were to complete this mission at all costs. Your government needed you to spy on certain Russian leaders. You were to retrieve any crucial insight that would help your country advance in the Cold War.

Any distraction meant your life was at stake. But how could you stay in Russia without visiting The State Hermitage Museum, one of the most beautiful art museums in the world? So one day you decided to pay that place a visit and it was there where you met one of its patrons.

The two of you had admired the same painting and you both briefly conversed about each other’s cultures. You mentioned you’re a student studying abroad and Russia was to be your new home for the next few months.

When the patron had to leave, he commended your appreciation towards his country and offered to show you some other beautiful places during his free time. You accepted, excited that you were going to have something else to look forward to while completing your mission. Who knows, maybe you were eventually going to get access to certain government conventions with this new companion.

Little did you know, your encounter with this patron was the first time you made contact with one of Russia’s greatest spies. With the wealth he accumulated over his successful operations, he helped support numerous museums and conventions within his public life. He couldn’t help but take interest in you at The Hermitage that day and how much you appreciated his country, considering how tense things were between his country and yours.

Perhaps this cold war could thaw two bitter hearts with love.

Ok weird! The first song that comes on is Beggin and one of the first words I read in my Nancy Drew book was “begging” and then the second song “Always Something There To Remind Me” well my mom and I heard the remake of that song on the way home about two hours ago!
