BBQ Smokey Ribs Jalapeño cheddar Cornbread

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day I am in the kitchen cooking up for loved ones. We all get busy and at least it gives me a better chance at connecting with the ones I care about more intimately than having a massive party where conversations are minimal and stress is sky high.

This year requests were made for my sticky Smokey bbq ribs - I do a dry rib overnight and then make my own sauce for the glaze and candying the next day. Jalapeño cheddar cornbread with hot honey drizzle. I added French onion potato salad with healthy sprinkle of chives, pickled red cabbage with champagne vinegar. Passion fruit lime cake with frosting 🧁 and it was the most lovely afternoon of gift exchange and funny moments. ♥️🎄 we will save traditional Christmas Ham for tomorrow don’t worry I won’t let you down!
