I have a question. Why is taking hair from other parts of your body like for example chest, legs, arms or beard not a common practice?

So would you say the hair on the very top of the head is more of an anomaly? And the hair on sides of head and back of head are more like "body hair"

I'm in the recovering process of my last week hair transplant on the best clinic of my country. The doctors now advise me to go through some sessions of mesotherapy. Could you please give some advice on that?

I hear techniques have been developed to create new/make copies of hair grafts with stem cells ... ie stem cell transplants ... is this true at all?

I think a major stress levels is what leads to hair loss, and stress leads to muscle tension and then DHT

I thought there was increased blood flow in the lower scalp and sides and that is the reason why. Is this true?

awesome info doc! I was wondering, I am on fin and minoxidil currently and I want to do a transplant this year. I know that a part of the hair I currently have isn't "mine" and will just fade away if I stop treatment. If I want a transplant, do I need stop treatment so the doctors exactly know what part isn't balding of my scalp?

I heard that the implanted hair only last around few years (5y) is that true, does it stimulate the shedding of existing original follicles in area, if I combine it with medical treatment lifelong will it last lifetime/ the expected time for donor site, could you please answer that, I heard lot of stories that people shed implanted hair after few years

Your show is amazing. Can I just make the suggestion... the white board and writing is hard to read. Can you write in more bold handwriting or something to help make it more legible. Thank you

Hi team, hope you are all doing well. I’m 26 and want a hair transplant. Thinning on the crown to mid scalp with a receding hairline. My frontal area is getting very thin and I have been on 3mg finasteride a week for 3 months. Can I have a hair transplant to thicken up my thin areas and restore and hairline? I get told you have to be over 30 and that shock loss can happen because I have too much hair at the top still. But it looks awful when it’s windy and you can see straight through my scalp. What are your thoughts, can I have a hair transplant?

From what I understood, hair transplant is just redistribution of the hair and the hair won't become thicker, so what's the point of the surgery for women who have pattern hair loss??

If immune system determines whether your body accepts hair...then maybe it's more of an inflammation or auto immune thing....
