He is credited with healing the country and producing an economic miracle. But his re-election in 2017 was not without critics. If it's not broken, don't fix it. Paul Kagame has been re-elected, therefore the people want him in that role. Rules on expression of identity will be different in somewhere such as Rwanda, given its history and the need to heal. In the west we are used to leaders that last two, three, five or at the most 11 years. In other countries it might be different.

He is a great president. Is he perfect no. But he is doing a better job than 99% of other presidents in Africa and I HIGHLY DOUBT those that criticize him would do a better job if they were president.
