The pauses are haunting, the gaps coupled with the soft tones make it feel alot more like a defeat, the gaps give a feeling of struggling to breathe.

was wondering how you would make this one fit in a music box, but you did it and now it sounds like a depressing version where it's already too late to even come to terms with yourself

the original is much more dramatic, perfectly representing the fight against all of the trauma and inner turmoil he had to endure for so long.

this version just seems empty. the hollowness that he felt after she died never left, and he was fighting that battle for her as much as he was for himself.

but the guilt stuck with him, and even if he's able to overcome the trauma, he'll never be able to take back what he did to her.
