Not seeing the issue with the 24mpx if you factor in the intended use of this camera and who it's really built for. We were paying $4500 for 10mpx 1d Mark IIIs back in the day, and people have been paying $5-$6k for R3s. And Canon's 1 series typically have had an initial smaller sensor then a release of an "s" model with a larger one. Canon will sell all of these it can make.

I hate the integrated battery grip, I prefer the option to make my cameras more compact. Also it's only 24MP, so with all that being said the R5 Mark II will be my next purchase.

Over 6 grand for a underwhelming 24MP? No dice!

Why does it have to be so extemely large and heavy. Does it need to compensate for something.

That camera should have at least 45mp for a flagship and price point.

I look for accurate and decent colour science from a camera.. if u need to post edit the photo, that means the camera isnt great

I wonder what battery life is like with these mirrorless cameras that do tons of processing in real time.

Eye-tracking that actually works reliably would be _such_ a game changer!
