Many of you may have been wondering where I've been: long story short, health issues. I'm slowly recovering and getting back into the swing of things. So please understand that I still may be irregular with videos and can't commit to any strict schedule. I'm so so proud of myself for being back here though, and couldn't be happier to share our project with you all. It's good to be back!

Thanks everyone for the support! We are going to restock books on Avalon's ko-fi shop as soon as we can! We have to do things in small batches due to our small team. The e-book is still available and the physical book will also be available on other stores webpages soon, it just takes a little time for those to appear. Something I’ve always loved about these lineups is that you always talk about the cat you’re focusing on as if they were the main character. You tell things from their perspective. While the story seems to obviously frame Fernface as a villain or antagonist, you tell her story from her perspective and you can see that SHE thinks she’s in the right. I love that.

Making this an original property was such a smart decision. I love how the original concepts manage to enhance the stuff borrowed from Warriors. The way introducing more roles and more of a hierarchy to the Colonies manages to make it feel like more of a system and give the cats more goals to work towards, how the networking of cats manages to give everyone a sense of having a consistent clique or community, and how having these social media companion pieces give each background character a tangible personality so they're more than just padding for the allegiances or blank slates to use in a group shot. Really great work so far!

Oh my gosh welcome back Tennelle! I know you probably won't read this but I just want to say how much I did (and still do) look up to you. I've been following your channel for 4-5 years and my dream when I was little was to have art as good as yours, and even though I still don't reach your level, I'm happy to see some of your flair shining through into my current artstyle.

What I guess I'm saying in a longwinded way was I'm so glad you're back and I really appreciate the spot you held in little me's heart.

Shifting Roots really inspired me to start my own Warriors inspired series. The Burning Hope follows mostly the lives and family of Brighthope and Lightpaw, eventually branching out across miles of setting with main themes being family, maturing, and redemption not being something tossed around but worked for. Brighthope is a loyal cat that's been conditioned to be icy and intelligent. She's made mistakes although she's tried her best to be a good leader. But she needs to learn how to be a just leader, not only good. Lightpaw is the opposite, as his mother's neglect and father's death, caused by Brighthope, has left him quiet and passive. He tackles with torn loyalty to his cruel mother and their dying clan and sister's new life, where he could have it all if he gave up his morals. So thank you for inspiring me. I can't wait to read it Tennelle.

Wow, Tennelle! This chart looks fantastic! And I love the information we got on each of the cats and the ranks in Field Colony. Lilyfire's story about her name; Clayfur and Thrushspots' opposing ideals with Career Paths; Hazelfur's backstory about him once being a Keeper; Spottedshadow finding her Path as a Mentor... it's all beautifully woven together. Well done!

I binged the whole book in one night, much to the dismay of my already terrible sleep schedule. The way I was crying throughout the book, omg. Y'all certainly succeeded where Warriors does not- you got me to care about literally every character, even the ones I didn't like, and made their deaths all the more painful 😭

I'm so happy to see you back, Tennelle! You have no idea how much your clouded moon series has inspired me in my own little stories. I remember watching your first video of the series over Spottedshadow, and continued watching from there. All your characters, their backstories, dreams, goals, everything has always motivated me when creating my own characters especially when it came to drawing cats funny enough. I'm so happy to see how far you and your team have gone to this point. I am so excited and will most definitely order that book in support of you and your team over this phenomenal story you guys have created.
