These roaches are expert hiding pests. If you think you may have an infestation, I would highly recommend getting a professional opinion.

We keep them away by not having anything for them. We wash all the dishes and clean counters and put anything we can't throw away in the fridge 😂😂😂. Simple method my mom taught me. Starve them. Frequently, do spring cleaning as well

Diatomaceous Earth works really well too and within days they're just a thin shell leftover! And it's not poisonous eithe!

I just discovered those things can squish themselves into unimaginable spaces because their bodies are just built to slide through stuff
They're basically the insect version of cats

I lived in an apartment that had a really bad outbreak of them.. I ended up throwing away practically all my stuff even shredded important documents.. 😭 I’ll never forget how traumatizing that was and how much bs I had to go through to get my important paper back

I live in the country, and we paid a "extermatior" $300 to come do a at home normal upkeep. He said (it's through a big company I will not name) they will be back in around 2 months, or every 3 months due to us having a doggie door. It's $300 every visit. After the second visit he came, I said (before he came in the home) I hope this is the last time, because I can not afford for you to come this much. He stated you live in the country, and you have a doggie door, so you will get all kinds of creatures. (We lived here for 4 years, not a single mouse, not a field rat, not a wolf rat, no raccoons, one skunk made it in the crawl space under the home I got it out) he came and left. Three weeks later, I seen a cockroach, on the kitchen counter. I freaked the he'll out. I called them, they said since I found out, and due to me being a previous customer, and due to me having a doggie door, I am looking at around $600. For them to come out, and inspect the home. I said what! So I went and bought the "bombs" took all clothes bagged them took them outside to the sheds, cleaned out chickens coops, ducks coops, peacock coops, quail homes. And more. After a week I bombed the house. Waited 48 hours, came inside bleached, cleaned more. A few weeks passed nothing. It's now winter time, and when I cut on the lights at night to get a cup of orange juice (my blood levels) I can catch them I spray, and I called them and told them. I did not get them until after you even came! They replied well due to my house size, and I only get paid 12 dollars a hour, with three children. (They take into account my financial) I have to pay $900 for them to come get rid of them, and it will take 15 weeks for them to be fully gone. And a additional $300 for all of the extra fees for them to come check, the traps, and so forth. I'm fucked, i have never had them before.
