Deluge by Synthstrom Audible (Walkthrough Part 1)

There have many been features added and changes made to the software since this video was released. There have been a further FIVE significant feature release software updates (as of 2019).

However, this will still give you a good introduction to the interface, consider it as a visual manual, step-by-step walkthrough of how to use a Deluge.

Just got mine delivered today. Opened it and found a sticky not inside personalized for me. That in itself is a magical thing to feel like a true customer.
I sketched out a groove in a matter of seconds on my lunch break and am absolutely IN LOVE with this unit!! I will be buying more! I would love to chain 2 or 3 of these boxes together and just jam away for countless hours.

This should really be very enjoyable to program, an 'open air' sequencer where you can actually handle the notes with your fingers,   like in an app but being real hardware, and it has instruments and effects, sampler and USB, CV, MIDI...all we need: WOW!  Also really nice finishing too (wooden cheeks!!!)...This must have been designed with love, or at least feels like extreme good taste,  a  'state-of-art'  piece of kit to really love using for a long time.

Seems to be very hard nowadays to present gear with a melodic and good sounding pattern. Everyone's just typing in random annoying notes and we have to listen it the whole time :/
But this machine is crazy! Love it! <3 Gonna buy one as soon as I have the money. Definitely!

Is there a “follow” feature so the screen pages thru the bars currently playing? I would love to step edit/re-edit long sequences on the fly in small resolutions without having to toggle thru the sections of the sequence manually.

Clearly the best sequencer i have ever seen. I am saving up for one. I am more a software guy but this thing is a masterpiece in every way. I have not seen a single feature that i can criticize. It was brilliantly designed and im sure it can be tweaked any way you want wih firmware. I always wonder if there could be a firmware interface to switch out firmware for special scenarios instead of only updates. So you could make it do whatever you want with almost no limit.

I am going through the tutorial videos again with my new Deluge in front of me (OS V1.31). The drum velocity change method (7:18 in the video) works and I can hear the change as I turn the left-right scroll knob (and in the track) but I am not seeing the right-hand two columns of pads change to indicate the velocity level. The velocity level is shown on the LED display. I have not yet looked for a change in the OS release notes.

I really want one- I have a Korg Electribe 2 (actually both the sampler and the other one) but this looks more like what ive been wanting- --i have a question about the WAV files- does it matter what the sample rate is for import?
