Interesing note, not just about the Jedi but about the clones: when she first met the clones (Darman and his squad) she was both horrified and confused because in the force they felt as young as they actually were. So, depsite visibly being adults, in the force they were the same as children. When she met them again, at the end of the first year of the war, she noted how that sense had disappeared. The war had burned away any innocence they once possessed.

It was one of my favorite little details in those books

His name is Darman. And to my knowledge Etain dies protecting a clone from a Jedi's/ padawan's light saber during order 66 (they try to defend themselves). Don't remember if she dies by the clone's or padawan's hand, but think it was the latter. Read Karen Travis's Republic Commando book series!
