Okay as somebody who actually spent a long time taking care of a dying parent, you don't learn a lot of obvious technical skills usually while caring for somebody this way. Maybe some people do but if you didn't, don't feel bad. That said, you did learn things. You learned an entirely new deeper set of soft skills. You probably learned an unspeakable level of patience. You learned task prioritization. You learned about advocating for yourself and others. You probably learned incredible attentiveness. There are some things in there that you can highlight, but if you weren't brushing up on your Microsoft office skills, don't beat yourself up, neither was I. But I did learn what the most important things to me in life were, and that's taken me a lot farther than I ever would have thought.

This such a powerful webinar the hit across the bottom all the way to the top. Even if you already have a job, this can also help with advancement with your organization. There are cases where you are pitted against other employees for a position.

Your fundamental ways of writing your resume is perfect for anyone who has a work history of less than 15 to 20 years. I was forced to resign from my job in 2005. At that time I was still working as a hairdresser. I then had to quit any training that I was in AARP FOUNDATION because I needed surgery. You see where I’m going with this? I was excited to watch this but there are no captions and I'm hearing impaired. The downloadable presentation seems to get enough information across, though, so I hope it can still help me out in my job hunt.
