When you take drum break samples, pitch them up or down and play with grain/flux/Formant you also get really cool sounds, very rhythmic and metallic

I think it's interesting. I can imagine a few ideas for this... I would use it to mix up popular vocals into chops to mix things up, while still retaining part of the tonalities of the sample. It would also make a good atmospheric effect in certain genres.

Production is limitless with many ways of projecting one's creativity.
