I LOVE YOU, LORD
My strength
The LORD is my rock and
my fortress and my deliverer
my GOD, my rock, in whom
I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation,
my stronghold. Psalm 18:1-2
JESUS CHRIST LOVE'S YOU.

Human's have 2 natural fears, the fear pf death and the fear of the unknown. It's not a fear of the darkness, it's the fear of the unknown that might be hiding in the darkness.

I'm not scared of the dark, I'm scared of what's in the dark.

I've been scared of sleeping alone for 30 years. I never realized I had this fear coz I never had any opportunity to have a bedroom of my own since i was a kid til i moved out of the house with friends with me in the apartment where we all sleep in the same room UNTIL I had a boyfriend that love drinking all night and I ended up waiting all night for him for years that he had this habit. After I left the relationship, I was forced to live alone. I was 30 years old. I would stay up til morning then I just passed out. But after a month living alone, after so many almost panic attacks (1 full panic attack), I got used to it. It's very liberating to overcome your fear. Just keep at it, you will overcome it. You are not weak. You are not made to be afraid of the dark your whole life. You will get past this and be a free-er you. Good luck, young lady!

Hell, I'm certainly NOT ashamed to say that I ( STILL ) have " nyctophobia ", a.k.a fear of the dark . . . . . . . . . . . and I'll be *42* December 1st, ( if God spares my life ! ! ! ! ! ).

As a young and single woman, my fear of the dark is beyond repair, I ALWAYS sleep with my lamps on ! ! ! ! ! ! !

My sister had that problem when we were younger, she was not exactly scared of the dark but the noises she heard while trying to fall asleep.
So she started to listen to music with earphones in and it helped her really quickly. She doesn't even listens to music anymore AND she got a cat, so whenever there's some weird noises the explanation is always A CAT😂😂

This is a legitimate fear. I actually stopped being scared of the dark the time i eliminated all the scary, horror movies from my life and started praying, just pray in Jesus( Yeshua in hebrew) name and what ever scares you will disappear, because His name is with power.

Get a night light for all your rooms, the kind that come on automatically and keep it moving.

I know everyone's fears are different and maybe the way we deal with them are different but honestly facing it is the best thing you can do. I was terrified of bees and spiders. I got a job that fortunately forced me to face them on a daily basis. Now I actually don't get bothered by them at all. I've had bees land on me or spider get in my hair and it doesn't cause me to get hysterical like I used to. Exposing yourself to your fear is the best thing you can do and the only way to desensitize you of your fear.
