The Ministry Of Environment And Forestry Has Kicked Off A Nationwide Tree Planting Exercise As Part Of A Campaign To Increase Forest Cover To 10% By The Year 2022.

Kenya's Forest Cover Is Currently At 7.5 Percent And An Additional 1.8 Billion Trees Is Needed To Be Planted To Reach The Set Target.
