For the love of trees: Tree planting at Kirisia forest

Environment Cabinet Secretary Keriako Tobiko has spearheaded a major tree planting exercise to kick start a rehabilitation process of Kirisia forest, in Samburu County.

Tens of thousands of tree seedlings were planted in the Tamiyoi area, after twenty thousand Samburu residents who have been illegally living in the forest voluntarily moved out two weeks ago, having lived there for the last 24 years.
