Imagine if a Muslim player said the same things. They hold even more conservative values. The media WOULD NOT react this way.

I think Butker's views aren't necessarily a big surprise for people in the KC area. I remember that it was a part of the discussion that Butker was campaigning against abortion when Kansas had the vote a few years ago.

Good thing Reggie White didn't play in this Era.

BREAKING NEWS: Devote Catholic man speaking at Catholic College about commonly held Catholic values and beliefs 🤯 The insanity!! Lmfao

But for real though, it’s not like he was speaking at UCLA or UF or another public university. He was invited to speak at a Catholic College graduation.

Calling this hate speech is hysterical BS

Tavia Hunt, the wife of Clark Hunt (chiefs owner), had a far more intelligent and nuanced response than what we see depicted here.

Almost guarantee Butker gets a well deserved ovation this season at home games.

The media bubble is completely disassociated with the reality that we live in middle America. I don’t think I’ve ever heard 2 men just dump all over the contribution of homemakers, the way Simms and Florio have. My wife is an engineer and an executive, but I tell you this…she would give it up in a minute if we could live on my income alone

His jersey is selling like crazy and it pisses florio off so bad

Bro why is everyone making a big deal about this, he wasn’t talking to anyone but the people in the auditorium with him. He was speaking to people who are like minded to him. You guys have no right to talk about it because he wasn’t talking to you. It has no impact on football at all.

He didn’t share his commencement speech with the world he shares it with Benedictine College it was for that audience not the world.

Florio is such a liberal and Chris Simms is honestly just agreeing with him to not hurt his feelings 😂

I don’t agree with Harrison however he has the right to say what he says - it’s the aftermath he has to deal with

Someone please inform Florio that Andy Reid is a better coach than Bill Parcels for a reason.

I'm a man and with all I've done, being a father is the BEST thing I've ever done. It's amazing that people hear what they want to hear instead of what was said. This is all B.S.

No one will be booing this man. This is strictly social media drama.

Trust me when I say nobody will boo Harrison, , he has the highest selling jersey and will receive a standing ovation on Sundays

Florio drives me nuts when it comes to politics. There was nothing 'hateful' in Butker's comments. That's just rediculous. He is a Catholic invited to speak at a Catholic college. First they tell Christians to not talk about their faith at work and now they're being told not to speak at all. "Bill Parcells would have cut Buker", Florio says but the reality is
1) It's against the law to fire someone for practicing their religious beliefs (Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964)
2) Half the country would have boycotted the NFL

Thank you Florio- hopefully it’s food for thought for some people. I appreciate your commentary and that you don’t let the haters prevent you from taking a stance that respects women. Much love ❤️

Ya'll acting like he said all women should be stay at home mom's. That isn't what he said. He said, there is value in doing both and dont let anyone tell you different.
He also said that men need to be men and not bow down to pressure that goes against their deeply held beliefs. What is the issue?
