Mr. Bradley decides to play a joke at a mortuary. He pretends to be a corpse and scares an attendant named Pop Henderson. Later, Mr. Bradley is knocked unconscious by a victim of another of his practical jokes. He winds up at the morgue. He wakes up and tries to explain to Pop that he is just paralyzed. Pop doesn't believe him and locks him up in his slab.

So good to see Albert Salmi in this episode. Wonderful, gifted and versatile actor, a giant in his field. According to Barry Newman, with whom he starred in the television series, 'Petrocelli, " he was the sweetest, warmest, gentlest man he had ever known. His tragic end was a terrible shock to all who knew him, very sad.

Thought the sergeant's reaction was strangely harsh being so determined to get him fired when it wasn't his fault, he was the victim of the jokester. And it only resulted in wasting a couple minutes of the sergeant's time so really an over reaction.
Also the old man letting him die like that was psychotically over the top too. You don't cause someone a horrible death just because they played a joke on you. Such a dark episode, but a memorable one.

This one shows the old man to be way cruel. You can guess what happens. Remember the old football injury. Don't respect this particular old man. The end is horrifying.
