I think this is so well explained, and as an amateur artist I find myself letting the fundamentals slip so much. I know they're there in my skillset but they're very old (learned so long ago) and quite base level, and it sucks to have to be your own boss and hold your own horses. Sit yourself down and do the work is hard!

Well the best thing to do is just draw what u want and keep posting it.
Eventually people who like ur art will follow u and if they don't just keep drawing that's the point.

I haven't wanted to do studys or anything for years because i thought it would be boring, but for that same amount of time I've been really struggling to draw consistently.
I've recently started doing anatomy and form studies when i don't know what to draw and it doesn't come naturally to me but its really fun!

Commitment, dedication, reach. Making it on social media is a bit like television; there is something for everybody so as long as you do something regularly people will end up finding it.

There was the case of a small artist suddenly blowing up in popularity... Due to being exposed for using and selling AI-based art. They gained a bad reputation... But also about 10, 00 followers, and a tight community of supporters and comissioners.

There is no thing such as bad advertisement, but it is dangerous if you piss off the wrong people...

The problem is that I see alot... and when I say alot i mean ALOT of artist accs that have drawing skills clearly worse then me but the time Im spending just grinding on my anatomy and light theory studies they spend that time posting horny or meme arts on their account and I upload something like once in two months! You already know who gets more engagement right? Sigh...
