thankyou! I searched this to see why my red LED light wasn't coming on when it was charging. After finishing the video, i guess the battery got enough charge to show the red LED, i just needed patience lol. Just let it charge 5 minutes before freaking out about it. Either way, thanks 😄

A trick to orientating the battery is to face the GoPro logo (on the battery) toward the lens.

I swear, I've done this before overnight on multiple occasions and I wake up to a GoPro that has a charge percentage in the single digits.

I just got my new GOPRO 11 and thought I was gonna be able to use my Gopro hero 8 tripple battery charger, I found out that the enduro gopro 11 battery is to wide it would not fit ...lol so I inserted the gopro 11 battery in the gopro 11 and plugged in the c wire charging plug into the camera but then I was like how am I gonna know when it's done charging...🤔 will the red indicator light turn green ...? I jumped on YouTube your video was the first to pop up and I watched it and just wanted to say thank you for helping me understand how to tell when its fully charged 🙂👍 thanks man nice informative video you uploaded

How long does it take to fully charge.

In camera gets too hot in my opinion, heat degrades electronics over time. External charger seems safer in the long run.
