Thank you for this video ..am a new bee keeper in middle georgia.. its my first year..I installed a 3lb package about 3 weeks ago. I just added a new deep box last week, had 7 out of 10 frames filled out..but I didn't know to pull up a frame of brood when I added it. They seemed to be doing very well.. I added the apiva mite strips also when I added the new box ..I will need to go back in and check to see if they actually moved up or if I need to bring up a couple frames. Great video! keep up the great work Brother!

That pollen may be from the poplar? I was seeing a lot of it before I left on vacation. My wife scheduled a week long trip right in the middle of May. Haven't seen a honey bee in 8 days but it's over now and I'm headed north in an hour lol

There has been some talk on one of the FB groups that im in regarding killing queens as the nectar flow starts. The idea is that the bees don't need the nectar to raise brood and will make a larger honey crop. By the time the flow is dwindling down, the virgin queens will have mated and start building back up. Whats your thoughts on this?
