I once did it like this way with the dummy node in an interview and the interviewer didnt like it and asked to not use dummy nodes and reject me

I just be scrolling through brain rot and find one of these and be like, “hmm interesting” 🤔 then I just screen shot the code and experiment with it for like 20 minutes

There is a much simpler method and you start from the most significant digits. The worst case is that at some point you have to pass the carry to all digits already processed.
