Ah yes...the Tamiya Grasshopper. An iconic radio control buggy from the 80's that in many ways started it all. So many other R/C's were built taken from this very design. The Tyco Turbo Hopper, my first ever R/C car, was for one a sure spin off from the Grasshopper. So in this video I'm going to take you through Part 1 of the full build process of one of Tamiya's most popular models back in the 80's. We are going to look at what tools are needed, what accessories you'll need to have this car up and running, and we'll go through the entire manual so you can see what we are going to be doing in future steps. So let's get started!!
