New York's top Black leaders meet with Rev. Al Sharpton about public safety

The gathering came following the release of the the final crime report for 2022. CBS2's Tim McNicholas has the story.

Why is it a private meeting? What’s to hide?
If it is an issue of housing, poverty, jobs etc., why is the federal government allowing millions of people to flood across the southern border?
These are questions that should be asked....

I have many ideas on how we can stop this crime. We need to target the mindsets of the people living in these low income neighborhoods. I’m working on programs and know exactly how it should be implemented, however I just hope I find a place where my voice can be heard.
