I am not saying it’s the right move for everyone’s financial situation but Xtool has partnered with Affirm which if you qualify you can pay your machine off over 18 months. I used Affirm back in 2018 when I purchased my first CNC Machine.

That auto batch feature and the camera alignment feature are amazing!

Great effort to show things that many of us were itching to see from someone other than xTool. Thanks for the video!

Nice view Chad. Major issue: not enough of your cat. Needs more cat. Seriously though, good review and coverage of the good and bad. Based on how it was delivered, I can see why there would be mirror alignment issues! I did the pre-order so looking forward to getting mine. Hopefully, minus the mirror alignment issues.

Thanks for Rick rolling me. I like the fact check angle. Well done.

The uke was mostly impressive because it was a curved surface, rather than the size. I think you could easily put a smaller curved item in there and do an equivalent test without waiting for a riser

I was lucky that mine didnt need realigning! You are right, I don't wish mirror alignment on anyone, but it is a necessary skill needed for a laser business.

I love when they say the video isn't sponsored, then tell you they got a free machine 😂😂. Great video, keep the great content coming

wow..i really like how you showed everything step by step (even filling to coolant). I really want this now! I have their diode laser & I like that, but this new enclosed one looks like it's really stepped up. TFS

I want a comparison between the Glowforge and the Xtool.

Because the Glowforge is amazing for the price. The quality of engravings is awesome. Im using it in Germany, because Trotec is to expensive and Glowforge has the biggest community.

I love these little baby mirrors and lenses, I've been running Mazak 2k watts and a Trumpf 5k watts lasers for just over 30 years, these hobby toy laser are fantastic to see.

So what would you recommend between this and an RMlaser? I have an old eBay 60w laser that I'd like to upgrade, it's slow and definitely doesn't seem like a true 60w. I primarily make leather patches for hats, but I do a little of everything. Shop size is not an issue, and the RMlaser I'm looking at is similar in price.

I'm new to this world and debating between the xTool P2 and your RM 960 Laser mainly b/c of your great content and well thought out explanations. I know the xTool P2 has a preorder deal right now so with that in mind, what would you pull the trigger on today if you had to? I don't want to spend too much time re-inventing the wheel when I can learn from others who have already been there and start further along based on lessons already learned and passed on. Thanks for your great content!

Thanks for the detailed video and demo of the machine! Is there a way to change out the bed to a honeycomb pattern? Also did you have to buy a separate air assist and hook it up to the P2?
