The big update is finally here! This video explains EVERY change in this massive update. This will bring you completely up to date with all the changes!

I played after the update with randoms and the high school map was much harder in my opinion. The rooms were very tricky to spot because the rooms all had varying temps. The ghost kept chain hunting us and two experienced players died even after hiding behind a desks. I’m not sure if this was due to the update but that game was insane asf. I’m still a fan of the update though because the game was too easy before.

Personally i like the fact DK went for a nice stable foundation over new content. Refreshing approach instead of pumping out new content and ignoring bugs.

For new content, atleast I want to be characters be more.. alive? Like have better animations and model itself, and fix skin color on VR hands (when you are playing vr)

after this update me and my friend started a match on a house and after we found the ghost tipe we hide in a drawer for one hour and the ghost couldn t catch us.we had a shit tone off fun

What I would like to see is
1. A rework of photos, the more rare the photo is the more worth the photo is e.g. Dirty water and dead body should be worth more.
2. Add more photo types, to many photos are interaction, also not a big fan of photos of interaction when something is moved. In real life go explain to someone; in this photo the ghost moved the door, the response would be, I am sure he did... For interactions you should actually have a video camera setup of the room, but that is not really practical and being able to record a short video would not be easy as most likely the event would end before you hit record.
3. Add IR and UV cameras or a more advance full spectrum camera that can be toggled between the modes by changing the filters. This would allow adding ghost orbs as photo evidence, much better UV photos of fingerprints and foot print photos.
4. Add more item movement; walking giggling dolls, music boxes starting to play music, floating furniture, spelling out words with blocks, knives being thrown around and plates (breakable) more atmospheric/scary, I would like to see players being terrified being in a ghost room.
5. Candles should stay lit, and only have a chance to be blown out by the ghost or in areas where there should be a draft. Candles generally do not go out by them selves.
6. More different hunting mechanics than just one fast ghost, one semi fast, one semi invisible e.g. Wraith has a chance to pass through an obstacle when chasing a player. Mare should turn off all electric items when hunting, including your torch so you have loop in the dark. Jinn should be able to teleport to any room if the breaker is on to try and cut you off. Daemon or Oni should be able to travel on the ceiling and walls. Poltergeist could move items out its way or in your way. Phantom should have a higher chance of hunting while being invisible, especially if you try and take a photo of it during a hunt. etc.
7. Different strength ghost that are linked to the level you are playing on, so on professional you would have a higher chance of getting a more ancient/difficult ghost that has more abilities. This can be added as a bonus objective to find out the strength of the ghost.
8. Ability to upgrade the truck and lobby with all the extra money you make.
9. The cameras should also flicker on and off during a hunt.
10. Ghost should have a chance to mess with your equipment e.g. switch off or throw your camera around, teleport any item left on the ground to another location including video cameras as well, to make it even more difficult to discover the ghost.
11. Add a Split items button when playing with other people so the game can split the items between available players equally.
12. Change the Total Activity meter from having numbers to None, Low, Medium, High and Dangerous. None =0, Low = 1 - 3, Medium 4-6, High 7-9, Dangerous = 10.

This is something I've kept quiet about for a while, but a few people have mentioned they wanted a way to make the ghost angry.
Irl, it's not advised to use smudge sticks to cleanse an area. Smudging and White sage (the plant the smudge stick is made from) belong to Native American spiritual practices, and is not supposed to be used unless it is gifted to you by someone who is a part of that (closed) practice, or you yourself have been properly initiated in the practice.
On top of that, white sage (metaphysically) cleanses all energy, not just bad, not just good. Along with (probably) angering Native American spirits/entities.
That being said, the smudge sticks could be changed to provoke a hunt, rather than soothe the ghost, and maybe incense or candles could be used to keep the ghost from hunting.
I know no one wants them to be removed, and I've been scolded by my friends from putting this in the discord or messaging it to DK, but maybe this could be a future implementation.

I love u man. Been watchin since phasmo came out!
Despite the changes, i still start with thermos, and I have my sis go in with Emf and she'll go hit breaker. Personal thing tho, I take my time if the ghost lets me XD
