Did you notice these eyes in Helluva Boss Full Moon? Sinner Soul Theory Debunked

Did you notice this in Helluva Boss?

A while ago i made videos talking about a fan theory regarding the eyes we see all over the pride ring. The two main theories being that these eyes are either caused by the souls of dead sinners, or they’re owned by a villain called roo. You might’ve noticed in the latest helluva boss episode that these eyes are now present in the lust ring as well.

This is the first time we’ve seen them outside of the pride ring and it’s really interesting. Firstly it means that the sinner soul theory is basically debunked. That theory was based around the idea that when sinners die, they respawn. While they respawn, their essence forms these eyes which is why they’re all around hell. Since these eyes are now present outside of the pride ring, and are likely in every ring it means they’re not linked to sinners since sinners can’t leave the pride ring.

So why were these eyes not present in previous helluva boss episodes? there is plenty of episodes that take place in various different rings, so it’s a bit odd that we’re only seeing them pop up midway thru season 2. Well personally i’m not sure. You could say it’s an oversight, or perhaps something has happened in the hazbin universe to cause them to spread across hell. If you believe the roo theory, maybe the eyes will pop up more and more until we finally see roo appear in hazbin hotel. What do you think? Let me know down below.

From what I remember Vizy already stated that when a sinner is killed by an angelic weapon or a hellborn dies their evil essence is absorbed by the surrounding area. The reason for all the eyes in the pride ring is due to the exterminations killing so many sinners that their evil energy is flooding the pride ring. The other rings are due to the hellborn killing each other over everything and anything but since the other rings are more tame when compared to the pride ring the eyes are much fewer in number.

Well, some animators express insecurities or anxiety by drawing a character alone on the black screen with multiple eyes looking at them from nearly all angles.
That considered, I think it kinda adds to the sinners' insecurities and the bad feeling of being judged

I like to think that the eyes are there but they moved them out of the way of a specific attraction. Like looloo land. If the eyes are made by roo then they would be in every ring of hell and we haven’t seen all of them yet so maybe this theory will be debunked soon

Vivzi said that when they truly killed (no respawning) their evil essence is absorbed in the area around them, and the eyes represent that.
IMO, this doesn't debunk what Vivzi said, but expands it so it's not just the evil of Sinners, but also evil essence of hellborn, that can be absorbed by the surroundings.

You missed the most important example of "the eyes" from the episode: the tentacles which consumed the child soldiers were covered in them.

Alright Boys, Girls and everyone in between, time for a Helluva boss theory.
THEORY: The eyes clearly mean something. I could be the eyes of dead hellborn demons, similar to the sinner theory. It could also be the Roo theory since she is the root of all evil, she should be able to see all of hell, including the lust ring.

My first guess is that they represented the audience watching, as a subtle fourth wall break. Helluva Boss wasn’t as popular as Hazbin Hotel was, so the eyes didn’t show up in previous episodes. I don’t think the eyes not showing up was planned, but it’s a fun explanation.

One of the good things about the fact that it’s hell.
Is that the eyes on the walls? Don’t actually need an explanation.
So if there is one that’s good, but it’s not necessary.
Which it itself would be a great element for the shows.

So if it’s revealed to have any deeper, meaning, it will be something that has been foreshadowed, but if the plan falls through and isn’t ultimately used, it doesn’t really change anything.

This issue is over when viv announce about the idea

The eyes are on the walls at Millie’s parents’ house, too. You can see them when Blitz and Striker are fighting at the end of the episode.

I to believe in “The Eyes Are Roo’s” theory and yeah the fact that they didn’t make a appearance in the other rings before “Full Moon” is a oversight

If they are from Roo the fact they are now in the lust ring could mean her roots are now infecting other rings
If the eyes are exterminated/killed again sinners it could mean that after their demon bodies are destroyed they are no longer bound by the rule that sinners can’t leave the pride ring (your body or free reign type deal)

Tbh, it could be Belphegor watching each ring in case of emergency.
Considering Belphagor is often too tired to stay awake for longer than 2 minutes, it'd make sense that in her unconscious state, she could see the parts of Hell she needs to see.
Which would also explain why we don't always see the eyes.

I wonder if the thing that killed the children in the portal was roo, possibly defending hell making it impossible for humans to cross?

I’m a professional animator and SO often viewers see things like this and come up with a million theories to explain it… meanwhile the reality is something like a director said something like “hey come up with some visual detail to make the set look more intimidating.” 💀 people have some insane theories about visuals in my film… the reality is that we just needed to fill the empty visual space 😂

I'm still not sure if Roo is gonna be in the story anymore tbh. Since she was in the very early concept for the show and could have been scrapped. I like to think the eyes are used by the royal family mainly Lilith to keep an eye on things

I’ve thought that the eyes were there when something sad or someone around them was sad or any negative energy because when something happened the eyes were there
-just what I thought (most likely wrong)

Viv said that the when anyone dies in Hell, sinner or hellborn, they turn into the buildings, so thats why they have eyes. Also Roo is from the Hazbin Hotel Journey into the Light wiki fandom page. Its a page about a really long complicated Hazbin Hotel fanfic that doesent exist, so Roo is not canon

I think that it’s Belphegor's eyes, when she arrived in hell her aura created those eyes, or it’s just hell is kinda like Tartarus which it used to be somewhat living at a certain point in time
