Your Elementor Website is Bloated - Use WordPress Gutenberg Editor

I've recently replicated the Elementor's official home page in Gutenberg as an experiment & to create a tutorial. That tutorial is on the way, but, I would like to highlight about the HTML markup both page builders generate. You will be surprised to see how much clean markup Gutenberg produces compared to Elementor.

Thank you for this video comparing the 2 website builders. I am in the process of creating a website, and got completely lost using Elementor. I have been looking for an alternative when I stumbled on this video. I'll definitely give Gutenberg a try instead of Elementor!

good video man. You could list in the description the plugins you used. One is EditorPlus I think, but the other I can't understand when you say it

Gutenberg just got better with the 5.5 WordPress update. I'm starting to learn how to use it and it's surprisingly easy. Speed and functionality, what more would you want?

Sorry, but I just re-created 2 of these pages using Elementor and my DIVs are exactly the same amount (give or take 1 or 2 divs) that your Gutenberg supposedly uses. Using Elementor Text editor widget, you can have everything you are showing here all sitting in just ONE Div if you want. It almost seems that you went out of your way to ADD Divs in a lot places just to make Elementor seem bloated. That, plus comparing Gutenberg to Elementor is like comparing apples to oranges. Editing in Gutenberg feels like I am editing in a browser from 1999.

Dude, sorry to say, but this video ends at 2:14 - You skipped part of the layout due to Gutenberg not having the specific block - a slider block loads Java Script, and yes, the Javascript and the additional code is *legasp* more code that you want to avoid. To compare, please add this. Also you're using another plugin instead of elementor, which makes your point halfwhat invalid as well.
Every kind of pagebuilder has bloatproblems. Wordpress itself without anything has bloat problems. If you want to avoid those completely, code manually. That's just not doable for any Webdesigner/Developer who needs to work efficiently and who hasn't clients that are willing to pay for hundreds of hours because every change takes a day. That's just not reality. I wish it was because I don't like the generated code either, but it isnt.

For me Gutenberg is still a big garbage, I have to use it when I inherit a client site but I find it very impractical.
I continue with Elementor and Elementor pro, since the licenses are paid by my clients with pleasure
