Gotta Get up, Distant, Remanded

In this FitnessFAQs video we will be covering the 10 most common pushup mistakes. This tutorial is suited for both the beginner who can't do a pushup as well as someone who has been doing pushups for years. Most people doing push ups fail to use correct form and their results suffer. Most people have never had guidance for how to push up correctly. This video will teach you how to push up easily, with good form and stay injury free.

Once we cover the mistakes and errors, we will be showing some variations you can use as you get stronger. This involves using a slow cadence, tucking the elbows, setting the lower and upper back and maintaining a comfortable neck position.

If you enjoyed the video and have read this description, show your support by leaving a thumbs up. Cheers!

I try to avoid those rookie mistakes, by not doing push ups at all.

Like two weeks ago i was not able to do a single pushup. I could only go a tiny way down and not any more. Then i could do half pushups. Two days ago i could do lower half-pushups. Today i realised i can do a full 2-3 full pushups. Im trying to work my way up to 10 and eventually 20.
Guys dont give up, it gets a lot easier when you JUST START DOING IT.

How to finally start exercising:

1. Find useful tips like these on the internet.
2. Save em on your phone.
3. Never view again.

Push ups became so strong that I pushed myself into the air and into the ceiling fan. Instructions unclear.

Thumbs up if you also had physical education in at school, but instead of teaching you how to make proper pushups your teacher just made you run during the whole class.

This has been really helpful. I realized that recently my reps have been decreasing and I know now that it honestly was because of my form. Mainly no longer tightening my abdomen and not knowing what to do with my shoulders, but after trying your suggestions my body feels comfortable and I feel like my push ups are beneficial again. Thanks for the video!

#7 - When done correctly (feet in air, NOT bent at hips, core tight), bent-knee push-ups can be good for anyone dealing with a lower-leg injury or beginners for whom even eccentric pushups are too hard. I was able to maintain my pushup strength using proper bent-knee pushups after fracturing my ankle, for example. Now I'm dealing with a big toe injury, so am back to bent-knee again - way better than stopping entirely. They can also be used as a progression step for, oh.... superman pushups and the like. Otherwise, great video!
