I know a lot of men that only got married to have a maid... No love no affection, and specifically no respect for their partner. We all wish things could be like the old times. That was honest love. But now is a freaken battle of who can be more dominant in every aspect. Its a marriage not a freaken competition. We suppose to compliment each other's lives. not destroy the person's life, self-esteem, character, believes and live in a constant war. Being afraid of what is the next thing that is going to pop up on their head to fight about or try and belittle you. IDK about u guys but I've given up on love for the same reason. We all want the same thing but are afraid or too selfish to share with someone. Being first born I was taught by my single mom how to cook clean and care for my siblings growing up. I can take care of myself and then some and I have in the past.
