Alinco DX-77e no sound from speaker - Repair video

The internal speaker on my Alinco DX 77 E just stopped working. The headphones and external speaker socket carried on working. See how I got on repairing the radio.

Result. As I said before Fred, Alinco not the best build quality in the world. I just picked up a DR135 2 meter rig for the motor. Hope it's OK... Lol. Good job mate

Thanks for the reply.No mine is not wide banded. I am not brave enough to alter things inside the radio. I have watched your other video though. I am quite new to the hobby.Brilliant what you did though. Cheers Fred - 73.

I have an Alinco dr135 dx with exactly the same problem but I took the lazy way out.
I just connect the radio to the auxiliary input on the car stereo via a lead.
