Baldur's Gate 3 PATCH 8 UPDATE Community Note 31 - Stress Testing

We got some more news on Patch 8 in Baldur's Gate 3 and you can sign up to stress test the new update per the community update 31 that released today! I wanted to talk about a few things released with the patch 8 news today, if you have any questions feel free to leave them in the comments! I've signed up to test it out and I'm curious to see what all will come through with patch 8. The new subclasses are extremely exciting, but in addition to this, I'm also excited to see what happens with the cross play update because that is a very tall order! Shout out to Larian for making that happen!

One overlooked aspect of patch 8 is this:
There are only 4 necromancy cantrips in 5e D&D. We have two of them: chill touch, or as it's called bone chill, and poison spray.
We're getting 3 new cantrips in the patch.
We know we're getting toll the dead. That's 1/3.
I'm assuming we'll get spare the dying, a cantrip we do not have in bg3 at base. That's all 4 necromancy cantrips implemented into bg3 from baseline 5e.
That leaves AT LEAST one cantrip for necromancers that has to be completely homebrewed. That's at least one completely NEW Larian Studios homebrewed bg3-exclusive cantrip!

Out of curiosity. Are there new deities to go with the Death Domain Cleric? Only one I know of that is able to be chosen is Kelemvor and the gods of the Dead Three are not selectable.

ark survival ascended did a good job about combining console mods and crossplay I had a server with my friends it was pretty fun only thing that had issues was the performance of the game. I am so excited for the crossplay I have a friend who played it and is interested in playing it but he stopped after getting bored playing alone. The game isn't for everybody but with crossplay it will help out tons

It’s Good Old Games Galaxy, not “Game Galaxy”. Honestly, I find it crazy how on the one hand the gaming community is up in arms about game ownership and digital preservation, and on the other hand seems to completely ignore that GOG exists.
