I changed 100s of turbos in my career oil pressure exists my friend and fills passages near immediately. That turbo will not fail from a millisecond of no lube, it’ll fail from your cheap after market air filter allowing dirt past it into the turbo

Why wouldn't the manufacturer use assembly lube during the assembly?

Holy shit you've lost so much weight! Had to watch the video twice because the first time I didn't listen because I was so shocked lol.

You look like a new person!!

Just squirt some engine oil where the oil feed line goes, rotate the impeller to spread it around a bit and it's done. No need for all this nonsense.

Nothing my magic hands touch is ever dry.

Pull the fuel pump fuse/unplug the crank sensor and crank the car over for 30 seconds to prime the oil. Scaring people who aren't familiar with this to sell Liqui Moly products is wild LOL

In case people are panicking that they’ve always been doing it wrong don’t worry it doesn’t matter if the turbo going to blow up it will blow up it won’t blow up from two seconds of no oil 😂 Advert included😂

What if you just pour motor oil into it while spinning the impeller? Wouldnt that small amount of oil hold until oil pressure get to it?

I'd dip the entire turbo in engine oil before putting it on

You could hold the impeller for a while on first start

Thanks for posting this. I am installing my turbo in tomorrow and was going to put some Permatex Ultra Slick assembly lube that's lightly diluted in some 5W40.
Would that still be ok?
