In my opinion Luka isn’t being talked about enough for the MVP race, he is averaging 28 9 9 with 1 steal, the Mavs are 7-9 without him, he has nearly by himself carried this Mavericks team to a 4 seed in the West, being that the West is Without Luka I think this Mavericks team would be bottom 2 in the West

Hot take: Luka is the literal definition of MVP. When he can drag a team of role players to the 4th seed, and then to the WCF. Without Luka, that certainly doesn't happen, as the mavericks eat sleep and breathe Luka. You can make an argument for Jokic in the same conte context, which is good since it shows that the award functions as it should
