Musk came up with the name 'Hyperloop' but the concept came from the 1890's. Gene Roddenberry used the concept in two movies, Genesis ll 1973 and Planet Earth 1974, where his characters spanned continents in minutes in underground tubes.
Credit to Musk for popularizing it but it is not his original idea.

Water utilities can also be decentralized by adding water storage to each house. Water delivery will be measured in gallons per year and delivered sporadically instead of on demand like current delivery.
