Its a genuinely incredible piece of media though and i would def recommend just plz beware that it may obliterate your mental state for like a week

goodnight punpun needs an adaptation, and that adaptation needs to be one of the greatest of all time.

The thing with Oyasumi Punpun at least for me, it's the fact that you can't name a thing that is in the manga that can't be in real life, like, if you see Pegasus as another crazy dude with his followers, there's nothing fantastic about it
Oyasumi Punpun is so real that hurts, but it only focus itself depending on the life of the protagonist, and how he see things, the world feels small and cute when they are kids but then he starts growing and you see the shit all people has experiment someday

The important characters look normal in the oudside but are broke in some way, the mother of the girl here (i forgt her name) was an abbusive mother all the time, we just see it in the end because the history didn't focus on that aspect of life when she was around, and that's not fiction, people have horrible parents everywhere, and there are plenty of more examples like this in the manga

Reading this fucking hurts man, you feel connected in some way and then it breaks you using the crushing reality remembering you that this is about real life not about a history that makes you feel good
