I am one of the many Keepers of oral stories of the the Mohawk Nation. I have been sharing this truth my entire life. I am grateful that, finally the time has come, for today's Citizens to embrace the true roots of the Creation of the USA. The Great Law came to the Iroquois People from visions of our Peace Keeper who taught Our People to let go of fighting amongst ourselves. It took time for the Great Law to take hold and become a way of life amongst the People. Peace, Equality and Unity are the Great Laws of our Creator. It is time for All to let go of the "us vs them" thinking and embrace the Oneness of Humanity and All our Relations on Planet Earth. It's starts within each individual when we see the Equality of others and respect All Life. A-Ho💜🌎🌟

Thank you for sharing this. If only we had done the right thing at the time, we would have a society that works for all.

One of my greatest concerns now is the current US educational system choosing to eliminate cursive writing because by doing so, future generations will be unable to read historical documents - thus allowing them to be rewritten by those who seek to destroy any history they don’t agree with (which they are trying to do verbally now). People everywhere must continue to make sure it is practiced by the coming generations and doesn’t go the way of other lost languages.
