The wig on a dog isn't a meme. In the anime FullMetal Alchemist someone does something truely terrible and creates a creature that looks like that dog with that wig. It haunted the nightmares of many.

Yes, I know that feeling. My cat tried to kill me on March 15, 2019. He attacked me so bad, I had to go to the ER to get stitched up. And yes, I still have him bc I love him. And if he tries to kill me again, I will beat him senseless. Well, most likely not.

About the dolphin thing, in Brazil we do have a tale about the "Boto Cor-de-Rosa" ("Pink Boto" or Amazon river dolphin, wich is a real animal species) and the tale says it seduces women to get then pregnant. So they say it was the dolphins fault when women get pregnant and there's no father in sight. It's a tale very popular in Brazil's north region.

The dolphin thing is pretty legit, when I went diving we were given instructions how not to touch dolphins as people quite often give them the wrong impression. If anyone is interested there is a really weird documentary about team of scientists tried to teach dolphin's to talk and having "relations" with them was part of it.
